Elaine Gillespie combined her art background with her intuitive business sense to found the agency in 1983. She now operates The Gillespie Agency in a true hands-on fashion and shares her marketing savvy with all her staff. Elaine is involved in day-to-day account relations. Her responsibilities include everything from marketing strategy to quality control.Elaine has a long list of honors and accolades. She is also very active in the community. She serves, or has served, on numerous boards including the Committee of 100; Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce's Executive Board of Directors, the City of Columbia's Appearance Commission and the Richland County Sheriff's Foundation Board of Directors. Elaine Recently stepped down from the Columbia's Board of Zoning Appeals and The Remodelor's Council Executive Board. She is currently Vice President of The Animal Mission, the Columbia Animal Shelter's foundation and a member of the Advisory Council for Keep the Midlands Beautiful.
